Build confidence in cutting and finishing layered hair through a two-day course delivered in your salon. Combining theory, demonstrations and personalised support, Layers Expert helps your team develop skills they can use in everyday appointments.
The core programme covers five styles: long layers, classic layers, short layers, butterfly and wolf cut.
Tailored to your salon
You can replace up to two of the five core modules with alternative cutting modules at no extra charge. For example, swap wolf cut for a bob technique to suit your team’s learning needs and the services your clients request.
Your course still includes five modules. Any techniques added beyond those five are charged separately. Your chosen programme is agreed before booking.

The salon provides all required products, tools and equipment, along with suitable models
or mannequin heads for practical training. Model suitability and preparation requirements are agreed before the course.

Up to three additional modules can be taught on the second morning, followed by salon support in the afternoon. If teaching also requires the afternoon, salon support moves to a third day, charged separately.
Your modules, timetable, salon working hours and breaks are agreed before booking. Groups of more than 10 participants are quoted individually.
*Prices are charged in local currency: GBP in the UK, EUR in Ireland and BRL in Brazil. The numerical amount is the same in each country, with no currency conversion. Any travel or accommodation costs are agreed before booking.

We focus on consultation, sectioning, precision and finishing, with guidance adapted to your team’s experience and the services you offer.
The first day introduces the core techniques through demonstrations. On the second day, your team puts them into practice with tailored feedback and salon support.
Training takes place in your salon. Models, mannequin heads, equipment and preparation are agreed before the course so everyone knows what to expect.
Printed or digital learning materials are included at no extra cost, according to each participant’s preference. Participants who would like both formats can purchase the additional version for the following fee per person:
