I come from a long line of hairdressers — a family who, for generations, has combined technique, knowledge, and genuine passion to reach the highest standards of our craft. We are The Cisneiro Family.
My Story
I am the fourth generation of a family of hairdressers and the first to take our family’s techniques beyond Brazil, sharing them with professionals abroad.
This is something I am deeply proud of, because care and dedication have always been at the heart of what we do.
Like many family businesses, my story began early. My parents, Denise and Jessé, are well-respected hairdressers in the interior of São Paulo state, Brazil. Both are still actively working, with more than 40 years of experience.
I started by helping them in the salon — washing hair, sweeping floors and gradually falling in love with its lively, relaxed atmosphere.
I learnt from my parents and, after graduating in marketing, decided to open my own business. My first studio was a small space in the city centre, where I offered personalised services while continuing to study and develop my skills.
As my work gained recognition, other professionals began approaching me to learn my techniques. That was when I discovered my second passion: teaching and sharing the knowledge I had gained.
My journey has given me opportunities to work, learn and exchange ideas across five countries: Brazil, Argentina, Ireland, Italy and the United Kingdom. Each experience has added something to the way I approach hairdressing today.
I spent five years at Headmasters Staines in the United Kingdom before leaving in February 2025 to establish my own business.
Today, I welcome clients by appointment at B.Beauty | Hair by Jess, my home studio. This allows me to give each client dedicated time and develop thoughtful, personalised solutions for their hair.
Alongside my salon work, I share tutorials and tips for professionals on YouTube, and my work and inspiration on Instagram and Facebook.
Through Cisneiros Education, my parents and I also bring together our family’s experience and international training to help fellow hairdressers develop their skills and confidence.
For me, hairdressing has always been about people as much as technique.
Trends change and our profession continues to evolve, but the care we offer remains at its heart. Helping someone feel comfortable, confident and happy with their hair is what makes this work meaningful to me.
